I left two eProps for Buulinh, and let's see how much traffic I get now on my site.

So damn, when was the last time I updated my site.... I don't even remember.  For those of you who I don't see or talk to on a regular basis, here is a quick update on what I have been up to lately.

Just finished up my first year of MBA at Rice.  I want to say that I am much wiser, but the only thing that I can be sure of is that my wallet is $28,000 lighter, and that's only tuition.    Being back in school was rough because getting back into the school mode after working for a while is extremely tough, as some of you can attest out there.  However, you do take school more seriously, perhaps you care a little more, or maybe it's not as easy as it was to get by at UT. All in all, I have enjoyed my experience so far.

I am doing the usual summer thing for a first-year MBA, working as a lowly intern.... yipppee!  I am very surprised and would even go as far as saying lucky that I found an internship.  There weren't a lot of companies wanting to hire an IT nerd with no previous finance experience. Anyways, I got hired as a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern, but guess what they have me doing this summer?  Implementing a budgeting software for the company.  So much for me trying to get away from IT....

It's time to get back into XANGAing!!!

btw, the Lakers will come back from 3 - 1 and win the championship..

so whats going on in the world of xanga? i figure its time for the fob man to do his monthly update..

it sure has been a pretty good week so far. we get a week off during the first week of november, and i made a to do list of things i wanted to get accomplished this week.... first, i wanted to watch sports center in its own entirety, which i did on monday.  i watched nfl prime time on sunday and caught highlights of all the games.  on saturday, i watched the ut-nebraska game and finally saw vincent young play... i plan to catch all the nba games this week on tv, and i am watching the blazers/grizzlies game as i am writing right now...

one thing that i have missed since i started school is sports..  just havent had time to watch tv, let alone sports.. instead of watching football all day sunday and picking up reserves to those players who get injured on sundays, i am either studying or meeting with my group....  however, i have met some people up at school and i play basketball every thursday... after i have a couple of beers at our weekly partios....  i can say that i am slowly getting back in shape and can actually say i am getting better in basketball... or it maybe the people that i play are not very good...

what is everyone up to?  hope everyone is doing well..

Last day of work at Reliant Energy

Things I have done today so far:

1. Multi-tasking between YM and AIM

2. Got an omelet at Alonti in the downtown tunnel
3. Taken my last public transportation to downtown
4. Read www.engrish.com 5. Read all my daily dose of news.

Things I still need to do:
1. Clean up my desk

2. Go get all my prescription re-fills
3. Raid the supply room and grab everything I need.
4. Knowledge transfer the little that I know to someone else.

even though i have only been here for 4 short months, i have met some really cool people whom i will make sure to keep in touch with.. I was very fortunate to be given the chance to work in a fun, exciting environment… (for those of you from work, I expect some eProps and have this comment relayed to Lori)…. =)

btw, today is 8/8....  and im sure you guys all know this, but its the chinese father's day.. so dont forget to wish your dad a happy father's day!
